DEADLINE NEWS – A HILARIOUS video has captured Avengers actress Elizabeth Olsen struggling to pronounce very rude Scottish slang.
In the side-splitting clip, uploaded by fellow actress Jade Olivia Gordon, Olsen can be seen reading the list of phrases – including “baws” – from a screen and cracking up laughing.
Olsen is in Scotland filming the latest Avengers film, and has clearly taken the opportunity to get familiar with the local dialect.
At the start of the minute-long video, the actress can be seen saying: “She gobbled that jibby-jabber” before laughing uncontrollably.
After a few seconds, she looks down at her phone and says “baws – that’s testicles.” She then repeats “baws” again before sniggering at the sound of the word.
Olsen’s pronunciation of the words comes out more like “bozz”.
E! ONLINE – This was bound to happen eventually.
Avengers: Infinity War doesn’t hit theaters until May 4, 2018, but E! News has fans’ first look at Vision (Paul Bettany) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) sharing a tender moment in the adventure movie. The two actors were snapped filming on set in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tuesday.
Bettany, 45, and Olsen, 28, filmed the same scene “eight or nine times,” according to an eyewitness. It began with Vision opening the window curtains using his special abilities. Moments later, Scarlet Witch appeared by his side “and they get very close and finally kissed.”
COMICBOOKMOVIE – As filming continues on Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, we have a much better look at The Scarlet Witch (Liz Olsen) doing battle with what is rumored to be a member of Thanos’ Black Order…
We’ve already had blurry glimpses of Elizabeth Olsen and her stunt double shooting an explosive action scene on the set of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, but this latest video provides a much better look at what’s going on.
In it, we see Olsen’s Scarlet Witch fighting for her life against an actor in a motion-capture suit, who could well turn out to be a member of The Cull Obsidian – and, there’s been speculation that it might even be Thanos’ most fearsome general, Corvus Glaive, because of the pike-like weapon he’s wielding.
Previous set pics confirmed that The Vision (Paul Bettany) will also be involved in this scene, but there’s no sign of him here. Is there a chance he’s already been taken out of action, perhaps?
Check out the footage below and let us know what you make of it.

VARIETY – Aubrey Plaza goes insane in a raucous red-band trailer for the dark comedy “Ingrid Goes West,” which shows her crashing a wedding and pepper-spraying the bride, played by Elizabeth Olsen, for not inviting her.
The trailer depicts Plaza’s character Ingrid Thornberg reacting to her mother’s death and a series of self-inflicted setbacks by moving out West to befriend her Instagram obsession Taylor Sloane (played by Olsen). After a quick bond is forged between these unlikeliest of friends, the facade begins to crack in both women’s lives.
“Ingrid Goes West” is directed by Matt Spicer and written by Spicer and David Branson Smith. The film, which also stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Wyatt Russell, and Billy Magnussen, premiered in competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award.
Variety‘s Peter Debruge praised Plaza’s performance in his Sundance review: “A semi-ironic, yet still-empathetic ‘Single White Female’ for the Facebook generation, Spicer’s squirm-inducing directorial debut understands both the pleasures and frustrations of judging one’s worth via virtual connections. If positioned correctly, it’s the sort of timely satire that could click with younger audiences — and further bolster Aubrey Plaza’s value in the title role.”
Producers are Jared Ian Goldman, Tim White, Trevor White, Adam Mirels, Robert Mirels, and Plaza. Neon picked up the rights at Sundance and has set an Aug. 4 release.
