From Peeing on a Marvel Set to ‘That Glove With Gems’: How Kathryn Hahn and Elizabeth Olsen Bonded on ‘WandaVision’
VARIETY: Entering the world of Marvel can be a daunting task even for the most experienced of actors — unless, of course, you have Elizabeth Olsen in a dirty Prius leading you every step of the way.
While introducing Olsen as an honoree at Variety‘s Power of Women in event in Los Angeles, presented by Lifetime, on Wednesday night, “WandaVision” co-star Kathryn Hahn shared how meaningful (and comical) Olsen’s guidance has been to her.
Beautiful Ballad: Elizabeth Olsen attended the Cannes Lions Festival today, June 21, in Cannes. The actress, who attended a Spotify event for the festival last night, was at the event to take part in one of the festival’s Lumiere Sessions.

Marvel Studios Disables Social Media Comments Ahead of Doctor Strange 2 Premiere
COMICBOOK: We’re in the endgame now. Marvel Studios has disabled social media comments to curb spoilers as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness screens in full ahead of its May 6 release only in theaters. Marvel’s Doctor Strange sequel will host its red carpet world premiere live from Hollywood tonight at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT, giving attendees the first look at Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) mind-bending trip through the Multiverse. To keep the film’s major cameos and surprises under wraps, the official @MarvelStudios account has gone dark with a message posted to Twitter: “See you on the other side of the Multiverse. Replies will now be disabled.”
“Find out in a theater. Not online,” reads @MarvelStudios’ temporary social media bio. “Replies disabled.”
Marvel Studios’ nearly 10 million followers are currently unable to respond to tweets from @MarvelStudios or the official @DoctorStrange account, a tactic to prevent rogue leaks or spoilers from appearing in the comments. Marvel famously issued an official spoiler warning for Avengers: Endgame with the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame.
Last month, an insider claimed Multiverse of Madness has “more big surprises” than the spoiler-filled Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home — combined. Disney has so far screened only the first 20 minutes of the Sam Raimi Marvel movie for press ahead of the world premiere in Hollywood.
Official promos from Marvel Studios have already confirmed some of the multiversal cameos and appearances in store for Doctor Strange 2 — spoiler warning — including a live-action Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), a variant Captain Marvel (Lashana Lynch), and X-Men leader Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) of the MCU Illuminati.
The first Doctor Strange 2 social media reactions will release online following Monday’s premiere. Reviews will publish Tuesday, May 3.
In Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Strange seeks help from his ally Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme (Benedict Wong), and the Avengers’ most powerful Scarlet Witch, Wanda. But a terrible threat looms over humanity and the entire universe that no longer can be done by their power alone. Even more surprising, the greatest threat in the universe looks exactly like Doctor Strange.
Today/tonight Benjamin and Elizabeth promoted Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in Berlin, Germany.
The Marvel promo train is leaving the station once again. All is right with the world. Shut up. Let us have our little fantasies. We just love a good Disney-Dollar-funded promotional tour because no one ever slacks on those things. There’s too much money on the line. And yet…
We find ourselves somewhat disappointed by these initial results. Cumberbatch has an interesting red carpet history. He vacillates between the two extremes of “prestige British actor” style and “indie film king” style. In other words, it’s either the very best in formal menswear or he comes out looking like he slept in his outfit. A Marvel film doesn’t necessarily call for bespoke suiting, but we don’t think this sort of messy-ass look works any better. As for her, we’re happy she’s not falling into the “must dress according to a theme” trap that befalls so many superhero actors on the red carpet. We would be very happy if she avoided any shades of red through this entire promotional tour. This look is an interesting choice, but it strikes as an FMO – For Models Only. Amateur clothes-wearers might find it too difficult to pull off. The proportions of the broad shoulders, slight peplum and elephant leg pants aren’t great and we find ourselves wondering if this might look better without the jacket. That top looks pretty nice and we wish we could see more of it.
Last night, Elizabeth attended the 2022 Critics Choice Awards. She wore a custom plunging Armani Privé jumpsuit and a drop ruby drop Cartier necklace on a diamond chain. She dazzled, of course! She was nominated for Best actress in a limited series or movie made for television but sadly she lost to Kate Winslet for Maretown. If you’re going to lose to someone, someone as talented as Kate Winslet is a good choice. WandaVision was also nominated for Best limited series, but it didn’t win either.
Love and Death
Elizabeth as Candy Montgomery

In this sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling Hattie Harmony: Worry Detective by Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett, Hattie shares new tools for managing anxiety, just in time for opening night of the school play.

"Notably powerful, Wanda Maximoff has fought both against and with the Avengers, attempting to hone her abilities and do what she believes is right to help the world."
Seeing her parents killed in front of her, forced to lie beside a Stark bomb waiting for it to go off for days, and war-like state of her home, Wanda Maximoff had developed a very aggressive personality. She volunteered for Hydra's Baron Strucker's experiments then fought against the Avengers for a time due to her alliance with Ulton and hatred of Stark. But Maximoff turned against Ultron after discovering his plans to destroy the world. She has shown that she prefers to fight directly for what she believes in.
She has suffered a lot of tragedy in her life and has lost her parents, her twin, her husband(3 times), and her children. Not to mention her friends, Natasha and Steve.
Powers and Abilities
Psionics: Some of her powers come in part from the Mind Stone and include telekinesis, energy manipulation, and neuroelectric interfacing that allows her to both read thoughts and also give her targets waking nightmares.
Leviatation and flight
Chaos Magic - the limits of her Chaos magic hasn't been determined yet, but in WandaVision she created a hex over the whole town, had the residents mind controlled all of the residents, and created a house and other items she needed for her life in West View and brought to life a version of Vision. Shockingly, she created her twin sons, Billy and Tommy, who were born a day after she was pregnant.
