HUFFINGTON POST – Scarlet Witch has so much power, it’d make Voldemort pee his pants. But with great power comes great responsibility, and actress Elizabeth Olsen takes that responsibility very seriously.

When The Huffington Post asked the “Captain America: Civil War“ star if she’d be into doing a Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff solo movie, the actress said she’d entertain the idea on one condition.

“It’s not something I’m opposed to, but it’s also something that has to make a lot of sense. I wouldn’t just do it just to do it. It’d have to make sense for how it advances in the world. But I’d be open to talking about it. I’d never say no to just an idea,” said Olsen.

A Scarlet Witch movie would be a welcome addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has been almost completely male-driven up to this point (even down to the toys). Perhaps giving hope to a solo movie, at the end of “Civil War,” Scarlet Witch’s future is fairly up in the air. Olsen said, “The options for Wanda afterward are pretty limitless,” but we may have a slight hint about what’s ahead.

In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Tony Stark has a vision showing his fellow Avengers dead. This vision is given to him while Scarlet Witch is messing with his head. We asked “Avengers: Infinity War“ directors the Russo brothers if the vision could still come into play again, and they confirmed that everything was still on the table.

Is Stark’s vision a glimpse at the future? Will Scarlet Witch possibly be asked to recreate it?

Elizabeth attended the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York with her sisters, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen. I’ve added a handful of pics to the gallery but I hope to get more in the next few days. I’ve also added some additional photos to the The Ninth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event as well.

ALLURE – You don’t want to play a game of What’s Your Favorite Salon with Elizabeth Olsen. “Mark Townsend did my hair for my first high-school dance,” says Olsen of the hairstylist, who works with Rachel McAdams, Dakota Johnson, and all of the Olsen sisters. During her interview for her Allure June 2016 cover story, the actress let us in on the secrets behind her always-perfect hair, her beauty must-haves, and the absolute worst beauty advice she’s ever gotten.

Do you act differently when you’re a brunette? “I felt really exotic when I was brunette—I don’t know why I’m whispering. I got nervous! My humor works better as a brunette. But I wear mainly black, and I don’t want to look depressed.”

Any secret to your color? “Oribe conditioner is the best thing in the world.”

What tricks have you learned on set? “Use green-tea bags steeped in hot water and then soaked in ice on your eyes. I’m lucky—I have good skin. I drink a lot of water, and I use a lot of products.”

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER – Isabel Coixet (‘Learning to Drive’) is directing the Broadway-set drama from a screenplay by Sam Kressner.

Patricia Clarkson is ready to take the stage for Isabel Coixet’s Broadway-set drama Light on Broken Glass.

The Maze Runner and Pieces of April star has signed on to play an acclaimed Broadway actress in the drama that will also star Chris Cooper and Elizabeth Olsen.

Clarkson will play Melody Harper, who is preparing for the revival of her hit Broadway show toward the end of her celebrated career and, for the first time in her life, she is uncertain and afraid. Struggling with the crushing possibility that her best years may be behind her, she quickly starts losing her grasp on reality as she experiences vivid memories of her younger self (played by Olsen). The budding romance with recent widower Jay (Cooper) is brought to a halt when an ex re-enters her life.

Sam Kressner wrote the screenplay.
