Here’s a lovely new photoshoot of Elizabeth from Vogue Korea. I hope to get the scans and maybe additional photos soon.
Another two portraits of Elizabeth from Avengers Age of Ultron from 2015 have turned up – or rather the same picture, one is untouched and the other isn’t. She looks flawless in both!
Sudeikis plays Matt, a son who hasn’t spoken to his photographer father (Harris) in over a decade, until Zoe (Olsen) shows up on his doorstep asking him to drive his father to Dwayne’s Photo in Parsons, Kansas, the only place in the world that still develops Kodachrome film (this is true, and it has a wonderfully retro website complete with a t-shirt for purchase).
“He’s dying,” Zoe tells him, but Matt has his own problems. He’s a struggling A&R executive at Spitting Devil Records who will lose his job unless he manages to poach a big band from Sony. The two storylines come together, according to Billboard, when Matt realizes the band he’s after is touring along the very route he, his father, and Zoe must take to Kansas. What ensues is your classic road trip story with an excellent soundtrack.
Through the trip, the father and son grapple with their broken relationship, while Matt and Zoe are on the brink of a new one. In the end, it’s a story about life, and the different ways we choose to treasure it.
“Take pictures, they stop time,” Ben (Harris) says. “Commit moments to eternity.”
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and will arrive on Netflix on April 20. You can watch the full trailer for Kodachrome below:
Olsen appears alongside her “Avengers: Infinity War” co-stars on the latest Empire cover, although you’ll most likely have trouble recognizing her.
INDIEWIRE – UPDATE (March 22): Empire has given the following statement to Newsweek: “Empire magazine did not make any alteration to the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ artwork supplied to them by Disney and Marvel Studios, that appears on the May 2018 cover.”
Earlier: Elizabeth Olsen has a question to ask Empire Magazine: “Does this look like me?” The actress appears alongside her “Avengers: Infinity War” co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista on one of the publication’s new covers, but her face appears so photoshopped that you might not even recognize Olsen as her character Scarlet Witch. Olsen took to Instagram to call out the publication.
The image is found on one of six new Empire covers celebrating the release of the Marvel tentpole and a decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Olsen reprises her role as Scarlet Witch, which she first played back in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The character is expected to be a major presence in “Infinity War” given her relationship with Vision, who is in possession of the Mind Stone. Thanos will no doubt be targeting Vision and Scarlet Witch.
The actress was hardly the only one who noticed Empire’s egregious photoshopping. Fans took to social media in shock and confusion over the cover. IndieWire has reached out to Olsen’s representatives for comment.
Nonetheless I’ve loaded the Empire scans into the gallery!
The iconic actresses celebrate female empowerment and friendship with an epic dance off.
H&M – It’s finally here! Shot in Buenos Aires, Argentina, H&M’s Spring fashion campaign film sees actress Elizabeth Olsen dance out from a local café and into the streets. There, she’s joined by a cast of strong women – including top models Imaan Hammam, Andreea Diaconu and Anna Ewers – all wearing flowing dresses, wide-leg trousers, embroidered jeans and sophisticated blouses while dancing through the city.
“It was such a thrill to be in Buenos Aires for the H&M Spring campaign, and more importantly, to be surrounded by such a wonderful cast of strong women. The entire experience was incredibly inspiring,” says Elizabeth Olsen.
After dancing through Buenos Aires, Elizabeth Olsen inevitably finds her way back to the café, where she’s joined by one of Hollywood’s most iconic actresses.
“I loved the way that the campaign really celebrated women in a very authentic way. I found that to be really refreshing and much needed right now in this culture. They are celebrating themselves and each other,” says Winona Ryder.
I’ve got some great outtakes from photoshoots including some very rare ones from 2015.
Elizabeth looks beautiful with her dark hair again. I wonder if that’s for a role. It was blonde when she finished filming Avengers but maybe she had a temporary color during filming. Either way, I like it both ways but the dark hair looks really beautiful with her stunning red lace dress.
